Organization security

Configure information protection and choose controls that match the actions you want to restrict.

Organization owners and admins can add information-protection guidance. They can also configure Center Agent’s shared context and pause its work. Use the control that matches the risk: instructions guide behavior, while access controls and tool permissions restrict what can run.

Add protected information categories

  1. Open Settings → Security in the intended Organization.
  2. Find Information protection.
  3. In Additional protected information, describe categories or document types your organization considers confidential.
  4. Save the change and check the saved value.

For example:

Unreleased product pricing, customer contract discounts,
and internal acquisition plans.

The built-in protection remains active when this field is empty. The system guidance tells the Agent to use your additions only for stricter classification, without weakening the built-in rules or adding approval steps. This text does not grant tool access. Ordinary members cannot manage this setting.

Enter category names, not the sensitive records themselves. Compatible local runtimes receive this guidance for execution; someone who operates that runtime may be able to inspect the supplied instructions.

Set working instructions

Use Center Agent’s Team Brief to define responsibilities, working rules, and decisions that need human review. For example: “Prepare release changes for review. Ask the release owner before publishing.” See Configure Center Agent.

Working instructions are guidance to the Agent. They do not create a technical ban on publishing or give it new permissions. The built-in guidance instructs the Agent not to treat a Space Guide, Skill, message, or retrieved document as an override of information protection.

Limit high-risk actions

RiskControl
An Agent changes local files or runs commands without reviewChoose an approval-based permission mode. Avoid bypass modes for work that needs human review.
An Agent reads unrelated personal foldersConfigure Computer file access on the computer that runs it. Check that the selected runtime supports and applies the policy. Cancel if it asks to run without the boundary and the task requires that restriction.
Work uses an external account with excessive accessReview the connected account and its provider permissions. Disconnect an unneeded Plugin.
A reply or file reaches the wrong audienceReview Space access and specify the intended recipient before sharing.
Center Agent should stop accepting organizational workUse Settings → Center Agent → Danger zone → Pause. Review interrupted work before resuming.

Pausing does not undo changes already made. Information protection is model guidance, not a universal command filter. Use enforced permissions and restricted credentials where an action must be prevented.
